Born the son of a Pastor, David Folenius was surrounded by gospel music since he was a young boy.  He listened to all the greats, the Goodman’s, the Stamps, Cathedrals, Blackwoods, Statesmen and many more. After David Attended his first Southern Gospel Concert, at the age of 9 years old. He knew this was all he ever wanted to do. In 1984 February the 14, at the age of 12, David gave his heart to the lord. Soon thereafter, his Dad began to use him to lead the singing at church.

David began his singing career at the ripe old age of 15 years old when he joined a regional quartet from Dayton Ohio. Over the next several years David worked with various local and regional groups, while studying voice privately with Dr. Charles Novell, A well known and respected voice teacher in the southern gospel industry. Since then, David has been singing at the full-time level. He has worked for some well known names in the industry. The most recognized name would be the Legendary Stamps Quartet. However, David says He could not be more excited than I am now, that the Lord has opened the door too partner with the Williamsons. I have never worked with a more talented, sincere organization. And I plan to be here for a long time!

David is a stylist, allowing him to blend with anyone, and he hears parts immediately. More importantly, David loves the Lord with all his heart, and there is truly an anointing on his life. This shines through when he sings, because you will not only be entertained, you will be moved, touched, and inspired.
